I made this tune in garageband for something called victors crypt. It a synth-based tune with a eerie typ of bass-synth at the bottoe with a bit more optimistic melody on top of that. Making it harmonic and less pessimistic but still dystopia. The scream in the beginning is something i borrowed here from freesound. I created this sound using lmms and 2 instances of it's zynaddsubfx plugin and a kick using the kicker plugin and some ladspa effects. I tried to emulate the "inception braaam " sound the best i could. Hopefully someone can find this useful to use in their project.

The original source for stretchdrone01. Aiff. Made back in 1980 on an octave/cat synthesizer and recorded to cassette. It's from a series of work tapes that i and my friend stephen mackay made under the "band" name late capitalism. The title for this one was "a five year contract with disney". Broken transmission pads: c2 note, random gabbled modulated sounds using absynth 5. Sampled into ableton with a bit of effects, compression using psp compressor2 and psp warmer. 2hp osc is fm modulating bermuda (using fm in). Pitch cv to osc is controlled by sloth and attenuverter. The bermuda tri output singnal is shaped by doepfer vactrol vcf. The vcf is modulated by sloth (cv in 1) and jerkoff (cv in 2). The noise it from dan, going to polivioks vcf. Polivoks is modulated by sloth. Output from vcf is going to vca controlled by another sloth.

I was just going through my sounds, when i decided "hey. . . I'm gonna release this. " so here you all go! i'm really proud of how this turned out. This, as you can tell, is a deep eerie ambience loop. It can be used for anything you want. I like to leave things up to the imagination of the audience. How it was made:. Software used:-fl studio 20-harmor-harmless-fruity parametric eq 2-valhallaroom. So basically what i did was get a low pitch sawtooth waveform, put it through some effects like harmonization, a low pass filter with high resonance, a phaser, and a load of distortion. The main synth is made with harmor. (yes, this is all one synth. It just has a lot of dynamics. ) i then processed it with some eqing. What made this sound what it is would be the reverb. I put 2 layers of valhallaroom on the synth. One has a very short decay time, and gives it texture. The other gives it the atmosphere. To add some more depth, for the final touch, i layered a sub-bass underneath it. Which is just a low sine-wave with reverb on it, which i used harmless to make. I hope you enjoy this!.

After i put down the drums i added sounds with synthesizers to build it up and make it a bit mysterious. I also added a flute in the middle as a break before it continues again. One of a series of heavily processed recordings i made using a hikari monos cv. It's a small, highly tweakable synthesizer that's great for drones, resonant pings, and all manner of dynamic electronic sounds. ‘slayer’ refers to s-layer, the sample-mangling plugin made by twisted tools. By layering, blending, and mulching the original monos recordings, i was able to get a range of sounds the are dynamic, punchy, and unabashedly stereo. These might be useful for edgy-sounding ui elements.
